Withdrawal
14-day right of withdrawal
1. How long you have
You have 14 days from the day you — or someone you nominated — took physical possession of the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days run from the day the last parcel arrives.
To use the right, you must tell us within those 14 days. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
2. What is covered
Everything in this shop. None of our goods are made to your specification or personalised, so the exception for custom-made goods does not apply here.
3. How to withdraw
- Tell us clearly that you are withdrawing. Email support@studiohafnia.mom with your order reference, or use the standard form in section 7 below, or call +45 42 71 93 68. Any clear statement works — the form is offered for convenience, not required.
- We answer with the return address and a return reference. Please wait for that before sending anything, so the parcel can be matched to your order.
- Pack the goods in their original packaging or packaging of equivalent protection. Woven fibre crushes; a piece that arrives flattened has lost value, and that is deductible (see section 5).
- Send it within 14 days of telling us, and keep proof of posting.
We do not accept parcels sent cash-on-delivery or left at a collection point without notice.
4. Who pays return postage
You pay the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are faulty or we sent the wrong item — in which case we pay. For a single basket sent within Denmark the cost is typically DKK 45–90 depending on the size of the box; large floor and laundry baskets cost more because of their volume.
5. Condition of the goods, and deductions
You may handle and inspect the goods as you would in a shop — take them out, look at them, check whether the inner diameter fits what you had in mind. You are liable for any reduction in value beyond that.
In practice, for woven natural fibre, that means:
- Fine: unpacking, handling, measuring, standing it on a shelf, putting a folded blanket in it briefly to see how it looks.
- Deductible: a piece that has been loaded to its tested weight for days and has taken a set; a piece that has been in a damp bathroom and smells of it; a piece that has been wetted, washed or cleaned in a way its page said not to; a wall piece that has been drilled through or has fixing marks; a pot cover with soil or water staining inside; a piece that has clearly been in use.
- Not deductible: the shedding, smell and shade variation we describe on every product page. Those are properties of the material and are not your doing.
If we make a deduction we tell you the amount and the reason in writing before we refund.
6. Your refund
- We refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge you originally paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard rate.
- We refund using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. There is no fee for the refund.
- We refund within 14 days of being told you are withdrawing. We may withhold the refund until we have the goods back, or until you have shown proof of posting, whichever comes first.
- If you withdraw from part of an order and the remaining order falls below the free delivery threshold of DKK 599, we may deduct the delivery charge that would have applied to what you kept.
7. Standard withdrawal form (standardfortrydelsesformular)
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You can copy the text below into an email.

8. This is not the same as the right of complaint
The right of withdrawal is about changing your mind. The right of complaint is about something being wrong with the goods, runs for 2 years, and works differently. If a piece has a genuine defect, use that route — it is better for you.
9. If we cannot agree
Contact us first. If that does not settle it, the routes to the Danish consumer complaints board and the EU online dispute resolution platform are on the complaints page.
